Nighttime Leg Cramps

Common Possible Causes:

Electrolyte imbalance, dehydration, anemia, strenuous exercise, inactivity, medications side effect, pregnancy, vitamin B12 deficiency.


Possible Remedies:

Drink plenty of fluids, increase magnesium (use supplements and in diet ( seeds and nuts 🥜, spinach 🥬 ), check your iron levels, stretching, massages, eat bananas 🍌 for potassium, reduce alcohol 🍺 intake, take vitamin B12.


Note: Talk to your doctor before taking any magnesium supplements if you are pregnant.

Follow up with your doctor if symptoms don’t improve or if they worsen.
