Oranges make up a significant part of our dietary vitamin C intake. Who doesn’t love oranges? According to research, oranges contain 53 mg of vitamin C per 100 grams and one medium orange delivers 70 mg of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a very potent antioxidant and has positive effects on skin health and immune function.

Vitamins C is also essential for collagen synthesis, connective tissue, bones, and your teeth.

Because the human body cannot produce or store vitamin C, it is important to consume it in our diet regularly in sufficient amounts.

Of course there are many other fruits and vegetables that have similar or even higher amounts of vitamin C (peppers, lemons, kale, cherries, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, spinach etc.) but today’s focus is on Oranges because I love them😋
