Do you or your loved ones have children or are you currently pregnant? Have you lost a child to SIDS? If the answer is yes, then this information is for you. Research has shown that sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is less likely among babies breast-fed for at least 2 months, whether exclusively or not, A Pediatrics study done showed these children were 50% less likely to die from sudden infant death syndrome when compared with those who were breast-fed for a shorter duration. Therefore, as mothers, you are urged to breastfed, if possible. The longer the duration, the better. Also, always remember this " Back to sleep, tummy to play".
